How to determine the overall height of the seedling cart for different shed types

The overall height of a seedling cart should be determined according to the internal height of the greenhouse, the cultivation method, and the available vertical space for plant growth and operation.

For low tunnel greenhouses or small plastic sheds, the cart height should be kept relatively low to avoid contact with the roof film or structure. Usually, the cart height is designed based on the lowest point inside the shed, leaving enough clearance for daily movement and ventilation.

For standard multi-span greenhouses or glass greenhouses, the cart height can be increased because of the larger internal space. The design should consider the height of each seedling layer, the growth height of crops, lighting requirements, and the distance between layers.

For high-tech greenhouses with automatic systems, the cart height should match the greenhouse automation equipment, such as irrigation systems, transport rails, and lifting mechanisms. Sufficient space should be reserved above the top tray to ensure smooth operation.
